As a new mummy these are the 6 things that I have discovered, without fail, will wake up my newborn baby.
- Sipping a freshly made cup of tea
- Sitting down to eat breakfast/lunch/dinner
- Getting in to the shower
- Driving slower than 30 mph
- Getting to the best bit of a tv show
- Daddy beard kisses (occasionally – ok so I might be projecting here 😜)
Things that Don’t wake my newborn baby up….
1. anything loud.
I know that won’t last forever, but I just find it typical!!!!

Haha this is hilarious! We are almost 16 weeks old and baby A knows when we are eating and insists to be held by one of us while the other one eats! And no longer does she sleep through loud noises!

Yesss! That’s what happens to us – So far the past month we haven’t been very successful at eating dinner together at the same time yet! Guess we should be managing our expectations then!!! 😜
My youngest, and my third was the most difficult to keep asleep. Now he wants 12 hours– he’s 3! Maybe relief is coming soon.
Yes to the car thing! Every time I had to stop at s red light yesterday, A screamed. Didn’t fall into a good sleep until we hit the interstate for the 30 min drive to Grandma’s.
